When the “Fifty Shades of Grey” novel was launched in 2011, the book became a world wide sensation. A study from 2012 showed that the sales of sex toys grew by 400% in the United Kingdom after the book was released.
Now it seems that the release of the “Fifty Shades Darker” movie inspired women from all over the world to cheat on their partners.
A study recently published on the IllicitEncounters.com website shows that within seven days after the premiere of the movie, the number of women who created an account on the website grew by 33% compared to the previous week and the number of men who created new accounts grew by only 9%.
Moreover, the website’s traffic exploded on February 11, the second day after the premiere. Also, 85% of the 150 women in the study said that the “Fifty Shades Darker” movie made them realize they are sexually unhappy and the movie made them think about maybe having an affair.
Bottom line is this: if your girlfriend of wife saw the movie you might want to make an extra effort in the bedroom because “Fifty Shades Darker” might make her think about cheating on you.
